The Story of The Better Bray Challenge
In 2012, Bray Lions Club celebrated our 25th Anniversary, and we marked the occasion with a project which we hoped would benefit the entire Bray Community.
The 'Better Bray Challenge' invited all organisation in Greater Bray - manufacturers, retailers, service providers, professionals, voluntary organisations, residents associations, sports clubs and public bodies - to set themselves a goal to be achieved between May 2012 and March 2013.
Those who signed up to the Challenge and achieved their goal were given special recognition at a 'Better Bray Celebration Day' in May 2013. The concept was that when a large number of participants set and achieve their goals, the cumulative effect would be very positive for the Bray community.
Those who wished to be part of the 'Better Bray Challenge' could register their organisation, and set their goal on the Register section of this website.
Bray Lions Club was founded in 1987 and operates more than 30 projects each year in the areas of health promotion, education, community service and economic development.
